I decided to spend my birthday in the South of France and experience the French Riviera for the first time. Celebrities of all sorts make this area one of their frequent travel destinations for its gorgeous scenery and lavish lifestyle so if they can do it, why cant I? Or that was my mentality. Anyway, I spent a few days with a good friend of mine stopping in all of the hot spots: Monaco, St. Tropez, Cannes, and Nice. Those posts will follow.
I was throughly impressed with this tiny little country. Great restaurants, great casinos, great nightlife. I cant say anything bad about it at all. I tried to cram as much into less than 24 hours as I could so here are a few pictures from the night…
I’ve been to Buddha-Bar in Hungary and The Philippines so I figured I should try in Monaco as well. It did not disappoint.
The famous hairpin turn for the formula one race right in front of the Fairmont hotel.
It was a bit overcast on this particular day so we did not get into the water but it was still very nice scenery.
This is the woman we rented the apartment from for the night. As it turned out she too was from the states and was cool enough to show us around. We ended up hanging with her the entire time we were there.

Headed into Twigo for some drinks

Driving through the hills on our way out… Next stop: St. Tropez
