I apologize for the delay to my regular readers, I have been busy trying to get settled in this new place and I dont even have internet at my house yet. Something about Swedish laws blah blah blah. Anyway, I am currently at a coffee shop uploading all of these pictures that have been taken since I have been here.
I have lived in Sweden for about two months now though one month of that time was spent traveling Norway, Denmark, and Germany (which were all very interesting in their own ways, but I will make subsequent posts after this one) so I do not have much material for Sweden, just a few spots I sauntered around in efforts to learn the city.
Without further ado, check out this place. Its so clean you could almost eat off the ground.
I decided to take a moment to enjoy the beautiful sights and appreciate the warm sun while it lasts. Winter is approaching so perpetual darkness is in store. Gotta soak up these rays while I can…
A walk through Gamla Stan (Old Town)
This is the Grand Hotel, its where President Obama stayed while he was in Stockholm. I know what you are thinking and the answer is yes, I met him. 🙂
I particularly like this building. Its the congress building where they meet to discuss all politics, decision making, and that other mumbo jumbo. I don’t care about all of that, the building is awesome though.
My condo borders this huge park and there are many activities that take place here. Of them, hot air balloon rides.
I hope you enjoyed a brief look into Stockholm. Trust me, I only scratched the surface. There will definitely be more to come!
