I had a friend living in China that I was supposed to visit months ago but never got the chance to do so. She was getting ready to leave for another country so I had to seize the opportunity while I still had a tour guide and a free place to stay. I was only there for a weekend but we packed in as much entertainment as is humanly possible in that time. In total I may have slept for 5 hours the whole trip.
The night I landed we were out until the sun came up so we made our way to this cool place for breakfast. It reminded me of a little italian bar (though I have never been to Italy).
I ordered the Eggs Benedict which was absolutely devine 🙂
Apparently sleep is necessary to maintaining human functions.
The model for the Shanghai World Financial Observatory Building.
Ok in all honestly I may have been wrong for taking this picture but I really didn’t believe that grown women dressed like this. Well, they do in Shanghai…
Heading to Tianzifang for a bite to eat.
This bartender was pretty good. He made some drink with red chilis and lime. It was amazing!!
This picture was dope. Period.
Scenes from the rooftop of the Roosevelt
My trip was finished up with an exquisite sunday brunch at the Westin Hotel. It was worth every dollar!!! All 100 of them…
Caviar is not really my thing. A little too salty for me. But when paired with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot it washes down nicely.
Not sure whats going on with this statue. Kinda freaky.
Like my grandfather used to say, “if a man cant live like THIS, he should just die”
Sad to leave but it was a damn good weekend. See you next time Shanghai.
the photo of the grown women were a bit funny… but i guess, that’s their cup of tea!
Haha, true.
