Since I live in The Philippines I figure I should take advantage of the gorgeous diving that it has to offer. I am not particularly crazy about it just yet because I have an unhealthy fear of sharks but I didn’t let that stop me from getting in the water. Now a licensed scuba diver, I try to go diving at least once a month and if I didn’t have so many other hobbies I would probably do it more.
I didn’t take these pictures, my dive buddy did. This was the first time he used his camera underwater so the coloring is not quite perfect but I am sure he will get better on subsequent dives.
My dive master trying to help me submerge. I still sometimes have difficulty equalizing so I have to take it slowly to get down to depth.
Now I’m fine. That first 20 feet is always challenging but beyond that my ears don’t feel like they are going to explode.
Look ma, no hands!

Just coolin at 100ft beneath the surface…
